Good afternoon,
I bought a WD-1 model about three years ago and used it for couple of months and then stored the machine for couple years. Last night I turned the machine on again and cut few parts without any issues. However, I noticed that there are a lot noises coming out of the bearings that support one of the ballscrews for the Y axis. I was wondering if anybody can recommend a possible fix.
Thanks.

Hello,
Drop me an email at info@romaxxcnc.com. The bearing may be dry from sitting. I would try running it and see if it clears up, if not, drop me an email and I can help you with that.

I too had a very noisy Y axis bearing. When the router motor was not on, Y axis movement was making a squeaking sound. One day, while looking under the bed of the router, I noticed a very small amount of black dust. It turned out to be right under the drive screw bearing. I hit it with a small amount of silicone lube and it is now as quiet as the other axis.
