Hey All,
I received the WD-1 a week or so ago and had time to try and set it up today.
I've installed Mach3 which seems to run perfectly.
I don't get a "thump" when releasing the estop.
My licenses are in place and the xml file is in the Mach3 main folder.
I have a solid yellow light as well.
I first tried to use the existing printer port and had no success.
When I checked Configuration/ Ports and pins I noticed that is was using LP1 and the range was 0x378.
I bought and installed a new port and configured it and still no luck.
I can jog and run gcode in Mach3 but no responce from the WD-1.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

If the Parallel port is installed properly, I'm guessing the XML is not loaded properly. Above you wrote I can jog and run Gcode in MAch3. If our XML is loaded, the flashing Reset will not clear to allow that. Go to Config/Motor Tuning and look at the steps per unit, if they are 2000, our XML is not loaded (Should be 5833 for each axis). Make sure to extract the XML folder, Load only the file from the folder, use only the Mach3Mill desktop shortcut. -Ron

Thanks Ron.
I've got it up and running.
It was a PC issue.
I purchased a new PC running Windows 7 (32 bit) re-installed Mach3 and changed the port to ECP in the bios and everything functions.
