Hello, I'm running a WD1 that has been great for the last few years, but some how the machine's x/y axis is not square. Are there points of adjustment to fix this issue? and if so where are they located and how is the axis adjusted? Thank you for your time.

I had what I imagine to be a similar problem and it turned out to be the Z-axis bearings (not gripping the gantry with full contact on the back side). Have you checked the y-axis belt tension? Also check the v-groove bearings, if one gives out it can cause squaring problems, but I would guess that you would know if a bearing had gone. I have a WD-2 and am working on dialing it in and getting it really well adjusted, but am pretty new to the cnc world (aka I'm not an expert).
The y-axis bearings don't seem to have any adjustment other than tightening the nut that holds them on. It's easy to get them too tight, I've found. I would imagine that a bearing problem(s) on one side of the y-axis could perhaps bog down a side of the gantry in some way?
The x and z-axis bearings have more adjustment available. A few are in slots rather than holes and have a set screw in the side. Those sets of bearings seem to work together in adjustment to some extent. I've just had to poke around with them to achieve a happy medium. I would love to know if there is a "proper method" for axis bearing adjustment etc.
Again, I am new to cnc and still learning, so probably someone who is an expert will give you some more informed opinions.

I've already handled this on email with the original poster.
The Y axis V-wheels are adjustable from the bottom on all of our machines. They adjust the same.

I see this was solved and I’m trying to do the same adjustment on a WD-1. The y axis seems to be square with the table but the x axis is off about 1/8” over 18 inches.
Could you contact me with the same solution info?
