Second attempt at a lithopane. Had a e stop over half way due to driver watchdog. Put a pretty good bit mark in it when I started it back up. Well see what it looks like when its finished.

Tired a test run on .25 cast acrylic . Wanted to see how it looked in white acrylic as the corian is going up in price on ebay. Lighting not that good on these two examples but they came out pretty good. will start a larger one tomorrow.

George,
How did you do that? That looks really nice. Was that done with photocarve?
I seen some guys doing glass "sloughing". They make a plug with CNC from someones image then slough hot glass over it . Shine a light through it and it looks really neat.
Some of the stuff you guys are doing amazes me.
Thanks, Ron

Hi Ron
Yep Photo Vcarve it is. Going to start a bigger one tomorrow, take forever to cut, don't remember the number of line in Mach3 this small one had, but the big one I screwed up was somewhere over 90,000 lines if I remember right. Wife really likes it, she now has me commeted to a few for friends when they send me their pics.
PS. Software wise, it is very easy in Photo Vcarve. pss. I rechecked my math, think I will stick with corian from ebay.
