I picked up a vacuum clamp on sale at Rockler. I cut 2 signs today and it held like a vice. I have a small compressor and it had no trouble running for several hours. Attachments:

Great idea, can you tell us the measurements on the bolt pattern on the hold down tabs? And just want to confirm when you said you cut out the sign, did you use the it when you did the profile cut? If so I have to get one.

I cut the profile on the vacuum clamp. I'm not in front of the router now, but I think the holes are approximately 3.6", 2.8" from the center point of the clamp.
