Looking to cut Baltic Birch Ply.

Hello,

New here. Looking for a desktop router to cut 1/2" and 3/4" Baltic birch ply. Need to cut thru as well as pockets. Reviewing the Romaxx WD-1 for this.

Anyone have any input on how this little router would handle this type of media?

I have cut BB with my HS1 and it has no trouble handling it or any other wood, plastic type material. I do not cut metal.

Thanks. Can i ask:
What was the max depth you could take?
What speed?
What router HP did you use?

I want to use a 1/2" bit but am not sure if that will be too big.
