Hi We have been cutting prototypes for a customer and learning along the way. Problem is that now the file that once cut fine is no longer cutting correctly. Toolpaths are cutting out and into areas that are not supposed to be cut. The pics show what is happening. We have recalculated and saved the toolpaths several times and it doesn't help. I'm thinking maybe the VCarve Pro file has become corrupt. I am uploading all the .txt files, even though we only ran the T1_Pocket 1 [Clear].txt, because we ran into this problem with this file. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Linda and Christy Attachments:

Looks to me like you may have the wrong function assigned to some vectors. (are you are cutting the parts free, or do you leave material as a "base") I might not be understanding you .
can you post the dxf file and I will look at it, I also run VcarvePro, If you use the latest version I cannot load the .crv file as I am still on 5.5, that is why I am asking for the dxf file. Post it or can send it to my email. george_myers@att.net

Hi I am not sure what I attached is what you are looking for. Also included how I did it in case I am doing it wrong and not addressing your problem. Closed some vectors that were open. Open vectors might have been causing some of your problem. The outside of the “frame” was not aligned in the DXF. That could be just the dxf and not out of alignment in your program. I grouped all the “Islands”. Just makes it for less mouse clicks when selecting them later on. After selecting all the “Islands” I did a Profile tool-path selecting “Outside/Right” option. And used a V bit as it looks by the photo that is what you are using. Then did another profile tool-path selecting “inside/left” option of the surrounding "frame". Last I selected the outside of the “frame” and did a profile tool-path selection “outside/inside” Sorry if I an not understanding your original problem. I did load a demo of V6 VcarvePro so if you like you could send me the .CRV file to look at. Much better as it has all your settings, I had to guess on the setting using the DXF. george Attachments:
