Hello everyone,
I'm not new to using a CNC router, but I am going to be a new owner/operator of a WD-1 hopefully in the next 2 weeks or so. Have never used Mach 3, so I may need some help. Thanks in advance. Looking forward to and continuing to make new projects on the Romaxx.

I haven't posted here in many months. I have had a flawlessly running HS-1 for nearly 3 years.
Ron is great and so are the folks here. You won't have to worry about getting help with your new machine and all that goes with it.
If you haven't done so already, give the PreciseBits.com collet set a look. I bought it when I got my machine and haven't looked back. Their cutters are awesome too. With the depth rings, you can switch tools and never have to do much to get your 'Z' back to zero.
I cut mainly thing sheets of G10/Garolite so my Z isn't as important to me as the folks doing 2.5D (Almost 3D) cutting.
Take care, Matt

Matt, thanks for reminding me about the Precise-Bits collects. I used them on my old machine along with the Tapered ball nose bits for carving.
Ron was a great help. I had two issues, cable hook-up and a corrupt file paste into Mach. One email and one phone call, problems solved.
I was a little hesitant about running Mach on my old Dell PC with windows XP that I retired 4 years ago. Had to dig it out of the bone yard. Everything worked out fine in the end.
Looking forward to making a lot of different 2.5D (3D) projects. The WD-1 and Aspire should make a good match up. Hopefully I can get permission to post pictures of my projects.
so far so good, Buc
