We laid out a small panel in Vcarve Pro which had some small engraved text on the front of the panel (approximately 1/2" tall text). When we ran it on the Romaxx machine, we found that when cutting the text, any right angle changes tended to be curved, not a sharp angle. For example, on the bottom of the "2", the router would add a radius at the bottom left leg of the "2" as it ran the horizontal cut across the bottom from left to right instead of the sharp transition. Also on "Y" text, it would turn out looking like a "V" instead. Like the bottom vertical cut on the "Y" was left off.
At first we thought maybe there was a translation problem from autocad to Vcarve since the text was originally created in Autocad. However, when we created the text in Vcarve, we saw the same problem. I may try to import the text using Cut2d or Cambam to see if there may be an issue with the translation between Vcarve and Mach3. Any ideas what may be causing this? I will try to post a picture showing the problem shortly.

Hi Clay,
Remove the G64 (constant velocity) if there is one at the beginning of your g-code and use a G61 (exact stop mode). It is a Mach3 issue where in constant velocity mode and using "look-ahead" one axis tries to take off before the other has completed it's move.
