I saw one on youtube so I tried one. Pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Material (standard PVC 3.5" OD) Speed ( too fast break tool, too slow burn PVC) Tool (found cheap bits that are clean cutting... no fuzz to brush later, cost 6$ for 4 bits) Dimensions (OD,ID,Material thickness) Cut depth and Image height (to allow light to propagate allowing maximum viewing illumination, but keep structural integrity) Fixtures (need accurate 360 degree rotation of part held securely, made a slip fit solid wood dowel for the PVC ID with one screw mount) Software (any software seems to work to create the tool path, used cncwrapper to change to 360) Vacuum attachment (to quell the PVC flying all over the place) It is very tough to photograph as well as video.
