I hope this is the best place to post this...
I'm about to order one of your machines, but had some questions about the table bed on these. I realize it's normal MDF, but is the table itself hard to replace later when it starts to wear out or gets damaged?
Similarly, can I add the Aluminum Tooling Plate top to my machine later if i end up wanting that instead?
Actually, for that matter, can it be operated without a table if need be? Sorry for all the questions, but i'm wanting to make sure it's as flexible as possible. Thanks-
CJ

Hi CJ,
Yes the MDF table is very easy to replace. It just bolts to the upper sufrace of the machine base.
Yes, the aluminum tooling plate can be added later, again it's a very easy swap out.
The Romaxx HS-1 must have some sort of table or fixture in place during operation. Not only does it provide a work surface, it also acts as the top of the electronics enclosure. Without it, the ribs of the machine base surface are exposed and it is open between these to the electronics.
Thanks, Ron
