I will be starting with the Mach 2 free version. Does the configuration XML that comes with the machine support Mach 2?

Hi Sam,
The XML config files supplied are for Mach3 only. They won't work with Mach2. However an XML can be created in Mach2 to run the Romaxx. We just don't provide one. We supply a document with all the settings for that purpose where another control software is used like EMC or TurboCNC.
When the user enters the appropriate pinouts etc. the XML is automatically created.
If possible, I strongly suggest using Mach3. It's a much more advanced program. A bit more resource hungry, but overall a much more robust and featured control software. It's free to use up to 1000 lines of code also. And the same $159 license works for both.
Any particular reason for going with Mach2?
Thanks, Ron

The way the Artsoft web site was laid out led me to believe Mach 2 was the demo version. thanks for setting me straight, i have downloaded mach 3 and it appears to run fine.
