This might be a VectorArt issue, but maybe someone could help. I started trying some 3D cuttings yesterday. Downloaded a model today and am trying to do the dish pattern. I laid everything out in Cut3D and it looked okay. I transferred the file to the computer for my machine and loaded the file in MACH3 (rough cut), and it does not even look like the dish pattern. The display in MACH3 shows an ellipse, almost a circle, perpendicular to the dish. I am using the STL format, and I made my dish an elliptical shape. I have no idea where the extra ellipse came from. I wanted to see what the model would look like so I ran the program. It is machining the extra ellipse, and the machine stopped twice before I shut it down. I also noticed a jagged movement in the "Y" axis while machining in a straight line. The straight line movement in the "X" direction was smooth. I also had this jagged movement yesterday on a different model. Just caught my eye while I was watching. The WD-1 has been running great. Anyone else ever have this issue? What post processors do you use?

Hi Bob,
The Vectric software puts out incremental arcs. In Mach3, go to Config/General Config and tick arcs as Inc instead of Abs right next to distance mode.
In Mach3 it will display "Abnormal condition", just disregard it.
They were supposed to fix that and they have not yet.
The Y axis may mean that the wheels need to be adjusted up a bit, give me a call tomorrow and I can help you with that.
