Hello everyone, I'm new to the cnc world and loving it so far! I have a Romaxx WD-1 and it is running great most of the time. When I load up a file it starts carving but then stops unexpectedly, if I hit the reset and the spindle on button and cycle it resumes most of the time without a problem. Sometimes it will skip ahead in the code and cause a unwanted carving, I was wondering if this is a setting in mach3 that I'm missing?

This sounds like the computer is not up the task. Do you have another you could try?

Nope.. How about more RAM will that help? There is room for improvement there..

Typically if the PC has timing issues, it's the CPU. It sounds as though the CPU is hanging and dropping the Estop input. It may be something as simple as a loose cable. Did you look at the troubleshooting guide? Can you provide some more info on the PC? Have you ran the drivertest in main MAch3 folder? If so, how did it look?
Best thing to do is give me a call tomorrow, based on the info provided here, I really can't provide any sort of definitive solutions.

Per our phone conversations, this is more than likely the computer as the "Driver watchdog trigger" is getting tripped in Mach3. That is usually conclusive of a PC with a defective CPU.
