Just a quick how-to showing the process for attaching and displaying pics on this forum.
First, post your pic on wikiupload, googlepics, etc. or any other free file hosting site. Copy the URL to the pic you'd like to display.
Start a new thread.
Select the insert image icon.
img][/img <--- this will appear
In between those two insert the URL to your pic like this:
img] http:/www.filhost/pic50 [/img
And it should display in your post.
Thanks, Ron

Hi Sam,
That link doesn't work for me either. It just goes to a front page and asks for a username and password.
Probably have to post it somewhere that doesn't require that the IP be logged into their system. Try wikiupload or photobucket. Tinyurl is another one I think. Photobucket is probably the best of the bunch.
Anxious to see the pics.
Thanks, Ron

ok, seems to work with photobucket. a regular reply or quick reply works as well as starting a new thread.

Sam,
Good deal, you got it figured out. So it's possible to attach a pic to new thread or a reply. I was a bit confused as in a reply there is no image icon. Just insert tag then.
That Bosch colt looks like a good size spindle for the machines. I should look into maybe offering those as well. I personally have no preference, The Ryobi was the first thing I came to when I went and bought one. They seem like good spindles though. Nick and I have been discussing carrying some higher end spindles like the Festool made in Germany. The Britoner's say they are the last word in a router. I looked at some and mounting one would be a bit difficult. They use linear rods as they are primarily plunge routers, it looks like.
Thanks, Ron
