My WD-1 has a new problem where it will not return to zero...
It finishes the job but does not return to zero... The Y axis moves to the left and X axis heads up to the corner a bit but falls way short og ever going back to the corner... The Mach 3 fields all say 0, 0, 0 for each axis ... This happened once a fews jobs ago and I thought perhaps a fluke, but now it happened again and an inlay we did in between did not line up very well and "lock" in place after about a dozen perfect ones...
Any ideas what is happening?
Thanks!

Seems that it maybe binding? The bolt to the top v wheel maybe binding on the steel bed it rides parallel to?

well now it will not jog up and down the X axis... I can turn the ballscrews by hand and nothing seems lodged ... Is there something that could be slipping?
I had it working great with Mach 3 and set so a full jog it would run no problem around the area... Now when I hit the jog it moves a small bit and then does not move but makes noise like it is moving...
Not sure what Is going on at all at this point...
