Hello I'm new to Romaxx and new to CNC. There is a fellow locally who is selling a used WD-1 that I'm considering buying. It appears to be in excellent condition, and he says other than playing with manual controls with Mach3, he's never run it. Never even put a router into the bracket. I went to look at it and I believe him.
I've got a few questions if I may:
1 - One of the things people rave about Romaxx CNC is your customer support. Will Romexx extend support to a second owner?
2 - The table appears to be quite large and the manual travel was pretty large, too. I didn't measure it but we did put a known 33" board on the table and it looked like there was an additional 8" of available Y axis in the table, and 2-4" of travel. Did Romaxx offer these larger, or am I just imagining this?
3 - He doesn't have any documentation. Is this available?
4 - He has a digitizer touch probe that looks like it plugs into a 4-pin AUX port on the front that he purchased with the WD-1 from Romaxx. Is there documentation available for that?
5 - Is it possible to purchase an MPG module and install it myself?
6 - Is it possible to purchase software licenses from Romaxx? Mach3, maybe a CAM program? I have the CAD already worked out.
Thank you for indulging me, Rowka

Hello,
We support all of our equipment, new and used. Quickest route to support is drop us an email. rogersmach@yahoo.com
Our WD-1 is the largest machine we produce. It is 24 X 36 and the work envelope is 20 X 30
We provide set up info and a startup guide on our website under downloads.
We have no documentation on the probe. A probe is just a normally open switch. Mach3 has the digitizing routine and there is information available through them about that.
Yes, the MPG can be purchased through us and the install is pretty straight forward.
Yes, software can be purchased through us.
Thanks, Ron
