I've been using BobCad V 28 for several years now & have had pretty good luck with it. Just recently, I purchased 2 tapered 3d carving bits & I am having problems selecting them for 3 axis milling operations. The planar toolpath function does not recognize tapered bits as an option. I have manually entered them in the tool crib but there is no column for the draft angle. I'm not sure that when I choose one of them that the software accounts for the draft angle in calculating the toolpath. Does anyone know how to get BobCad V 28 to recognize tapered bits as an option for 3 axis milling? Thanks for any help.
